A Place to Think, Belong and Grow --
Union Corner is the home of the Center for Christian Study — a shared space designed for conversation, study, hospitality, learning, and community.
Whether you need a quiet place to read, a comfortable place to meet, or a venue for discussion and events, Union Corner is open and available for students, campus ministries, faculty, churches, and community leaders.
We hope Union Corner feels like a home away from home and a place where meaningful friendships, thoughtful conversations, and lasting ideas can take root.
The space includes:
Study and reading areas
Meeting and discussion areas
A 4,000-volume theological and intellectual library
Event and classroom space
Coffee, conversation, community, and ramen :)
What Happens Here?
-
Our flagship leadership and formation program for undergraduate and graduate students. Fellows engage in lectures, readings, discussions, mentoring, and community over multiple semesters as they explore how to live faithfully within God's story and discern their vocation in the world.
-
Evening courses, lectures, reading groups, and public conversations exploring theology, philosophy, ethics, culture, leadership, vocation, and the Christian intellectual tradition.
-
Dinners, discussions, guest speakers, social gatherings, and opportunities to connect with students, faculty, ministry leaders, and professionals from across Tampa Bay.
-
Campus ministries are welcome to reserve meeting space, host small groups, hold leadership gatherings, and collaborate on events that serve the university community.
